HANNAN, W.Va. (AP) — Police in West Virginia have charged three men in a shooting that left two people dead and a third wounded.
The shooting occurred Friday at a home near Hannan in Mason County, according to news outlets.
Corey A. Turner, 32, of Barboursville, Dustin L. Lyons, 31, of Milton, and Brandon A. Smith, 29, of Milton, were being held at the Western Regional Jail in Barboursville.
Turner and Lyons were charged with accessory to first degree murder after the fact, the Mason County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement. Smith will face two counts of first-degree murder and one count of attempted murder.
The statement said Ivan Lambert was found dead at the home while Ricky Pickens died Saturday at a hospital. A third man remained hospitalized in critical condition.
It wasn’t immediately known whether the suspects have attorneys who could comment on the charges.
