Welch – Mount View’s offense exploded Monday as the Golden Knights downed Hurley, Va. 21-6 in four innings in Welch.
The 21 runs came on just nine hits as Mount View capitalized on 11 walks and five errors in the win.
Jasmine Rose led the assault with three RBIs.
Bluefield 9, Lebanon, Va. 1
Bluefield – Bluefield’s offense broke through late as the Beavers scored six runs in the sixth inning to claim a 9-1 win over Lebanon Monday in Bluefield.
Izzy Smith led the assault for Bluefield with four RBIs while Cara Brown collected a trio of hits.
Smith struck out 13 in the circle.
Beckley 14, Wyoming East 5
New Richmond – Beckley’s offense scored in every inning Monday as the Flying Eagles left Wyoming East with a 14-5 victory.
Kyndall Dooley and Taylor Scott collected three hits each for Beckley.
Alivia Monroe led East with three RBIs and a home run in the loss.
Shady Spring 9, Oak Hill 1
Shady Spring – Shady Spring’s bats stayed hot Monday as the Tigers pounded out 13 hits in a 9-1 win over Oak Hill in Shady.
Avary Bragg led the assault with five RBIs and four hits while Jenna Joyce drove in a trio of runs.
Halee Jones led Oak Hill with two hits in the loss.
Buffalo 8, Greenbrier West 3
Buffalo – Greenbrier West’s offense sputtered as the Cavaliers fell 8-3 at Buffalo Monday evening.
Kim Dillman struck out 12 batters to lead Buffalo while Breigh Martin drove in a pair of runs in the win.
Of the eight runs allowed by West pitcher Brilee Redden, only three were earned.
