WAYNE COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A “major” West Virginia drug dealer was apprehended on Tuesday following the execution of warrants.
According to Wayne County Sheriff Rick Thompson, the arrest was the result of a coordinated effort by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Drug Enforcement Unit and Road Patrol Deputies, who executed two search warrants on SaltPetre Road in Wayne County.

The search led to the discovery of two handguns, approximately 153 grams of cocaine, about six pounds of marijuana, digital scales, and over $30,000 in cash.
Clyde ‘Patch’ Chapman was taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver cocaine, shrooms, and marijuana.
Additional charges are expected to be filed.
