MORGANTOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – WVU Football defensive coordinator Jordan Lesley has been fired.
According to ESPN’s Pete Thamel, Lesley has been officially fired by the university and Jeff Koonz will take over as the defensive coordinator.

This comes as frustration grows among WVU fans with the direction of the football program this season.
WVU’s defense is the third-worst in the entire Big 12.
Per Lesley’s contract, WVU will be owed $800,000 through February of 2026.
