BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) — WVU Tech is working to bring back its football program, a tradition that once played a key role in campus life and school spirit.
To support the initiative, a fundraising dinner will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Glade Springs Resort in Daniels. The event will feature a keynote speech by Legendary Coach Bob Pruett, whose celebrated college football career highlights the importance of the effort.
All proceeds from the dinner will go toward reinstating the football program, covering costs such as personnel, recruitment, and facility improvements.
Supporters can contribute in three ways:
-
Attend the Dinner: Purchase tickets at give.wvu.edu
-
Donate Directly: Visit give.wvu.edu
-
Spread the Word: Share the event with alumni and supporters
