HUNTINGTON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Marshall University Athletics has announced that all athletic venues will now operate as 100% cashless beginning with the 2025–2026 season.
The change is effective immediately.
As part of the new policy, all purchases made at the ticket office, concession stands (including brick-and-mortar locations, pop-up vendors, and food trucks), and the stadium team store must be completed using card or mobile payment methods.
Cash will no longer be accepted at any point of sale within the venues.
University officials say the move is designed to speed up lines, enhance safety, and improve the overall game day experience for fans.
