BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The community is invited to join Wreaths Across America for a wreath-laying ceremony this Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 12:00 noon at the Veterans Cemetery located at 312 Blair Street in Beckley, behind Memorial Baptist Church.
The ceremony will honor the memory and sacrifice of veterans laid to rest at the cemetery. Volunteers will place wreaths on veterans’ graves as part of the national Wreaths Across America initiative, which seeks to remember the fallen, honor those who serve, and teach future generations about the value of freedom.
Wreaths Across America is observed annually at cemeteries across the nation, bringing communities together to ensure that no veteran is forgotten during the holiday season. The wreath-laying tradition provides families, friends, and community members an opportunity to express gratitude for the service and sacrifice of America’s veterans.
The public is encouraged to attend and participate in this meaningful tribute to those who served our country.
