OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Fayette County Office of Emergency Management announced that a warming center will be open overnight in Oak Hill to provide shelter from the cold.
The Southern Appalachian Labor School will operate the warming center tonight from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. at the Historic Oak Hill School, located at 140 School Street, Oak Hill, WV 25901.

The facility will offer a warm place to stay but will not provide beds.
Residents in need of relief from cold temperatures are encouraged to take advantage of the service during overnight hours.
