RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – All offices of the Raleigh County Commission and several related county departments are closed Monday, February 23, 2026, due to inclement weather.
The closure includes the Raleigh County Courthouse, Raleigh County Code Enforcement, the Raleigh County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, the Raleigh County Judicial Annex, and the Raleigh County Day Report Center.
County officials said the decision was made in response to hazardous weather conditions impacting the area.
The closure was issued under the authority of Greg Duckworth, president of the Raleigh County Commission, and Todd Kirby, chief judge.
