LOGAN COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man from Logan County has been arrested following a drug investigation conducted by the West Virginia State Police.
According to the West Virginia State Police, on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, Trooper C. D. Woodall received information regarding illegal drugs allegedly being sold from a residence in the Omar area of Logan County.
During the investigation, troopers determined that Nicholas Turner, 29, of Omar, was allegedly distributing narcotics from a residence located on Jerry West Highway in Omar.
On Sunday, March 8, 2026, Trooper Woodall arrested Turner on a charge of possession with intent to deliver. Authorities said Turner was transported to Southwestern Regional Jail following the arrest.
State Police said the investigation remains ongoing.
