MONTGOMERY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Montgomery and the Montgomery Park Board are inviting the community to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States with an evening of Independence Day festivities on Friday, July 3.
The celebration will begin at 6 p.m. along Third Avenue and will feature food vendors, live music, free ice cream, fireworks and other family-friendly activities.
According to the Montgomery Fire Department, the fireworks display is scheduled to begin at 10 p.m.
City officials said the event will commemorate 250 years of the United States while bringing the community together for an evening of entertainment and celebration.
“We look forward to seeing everyone!” the Montgomery Fire Department said in announcing the event.
