RALEIGH COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Raleigh County Commissioner Daniel Hall says county officials are working with the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office to address concerns about reported drug activity in the Fairdale and Glen Daniel area.
Hall issued a statement following multiple complaints from residents regarding suspected drug activity in the area, including concerns surrounding a residence in Claypool Hollow.
Hall said he has spoken with the sheriff’s office multiple times over the past year about the concerns.
“Law-enforcement must work inside the bounds of the law and they can only do so much so fast,” Hall said. “Criminals do not concern themselves with such things.”
Hall said the Raleigh County Commission is working with the sheriff’s office toward a resolution and to provide peace of mind to residents of the area.
Hall also expressed appreciation for the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and its responsiveness and attention to the concerns that have been raised.
Residents are being encouraged to continue reporting suspicious activity to the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office.
