WEST VIRGINIA (LOOTPRESS) – The West Virginia Department of Agriculture plans to conduct aerial treatments to suppress black flies along the Greenbrier, New and Bluestone rivers on Wednesday, September 23.
The treatments may continue into Thursday, September 24. The schedule depends on weather conditions and river levels.
The department described the treatments as a biological method of black fly suppression.
