FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A new marketplace located inside the historic former Ben Franklin building in downtown Fayetteville has announced its grand opening date.
Fayetteville Marketplace will officially celebrate its grand opening at 10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 9.
The marketplace is being promoted as a destination featuring “Historic Treasure, Local Favorites, and Everyday Finds” under one roof.
The opening marks a new chapter for the longtime Ben Franklin building, a recognizable part of downtown Fayetteville that has undergone redevelopment for new uses.
Plans to bring new life to the building had previously been teased in 2025 as work moved forward to revitalize the property while preserving its place in Fayetteville’s downtown landscape.
Fayetteville Marketplace is inviting the public to attend the Oct. 9 grand opening and explore the businesses and offerings now located inside the historic building.
The grand opening will begin at 10 a.m. in downtown Fayetteville.
