ALDERSON, WV (LOOTPRESS) — A Summers County man accused of threatening to hit and kill his mother was allegedly found with suspected methamphetamine when authorities took him into custody days later, according to court documents.
A deputy responded to a home on Clayton-Judson Road near Alderson shortly before 8 a.m. on September 28, 2026, following a report of a domestic disturbance involving Jacob Boone.
Boone’s mother told the deputy that Boone arrived around 7:30 a.m. and was let inside by his brother. She said Boone entered the bedroom where she was lying in bed, became belligerent and refused her request to leave.
According to her statement, she tried to close the bedroom door to get away from Boone. He allegedly approached her with his fists clenched and threatened to hit and kill her. She told the deputy she feared he would physically harm her.
Boone left before the deputy arrived, according to the complaint.
On October 1, an officer attempting to serve a warrant on Boone at Clayton-Judson Road reported seeing him use his mouth to try to retrieve a blue plastic bag from a cigarette pack while being taken into custody.
The officer stopped him and examined the bag, which allegedly contained a white, crystal-like substance consistent in appearance with methamphetamine. According to the officer’s account, Boone stated that the bag contained methamphetamine.
