OAK HILL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A juvenile male has died following a shooting in Oak Hill on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
According to Oak Hill Police Chief Mike Whisman, officers were dispatched to a reported gunshot wound at approximately 2:42 p.m. in the area of 400 Third Street.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound.
The juvenile was transported by emergency medical services to Plateau Medical Center before being flown to Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) for further treatment.
Police say the juvenile was later pronounced dead.
The Oak Hill Police Department is conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
