Wyoming East 13, PikeView 7
New Richmond – Tied 3-3 after three innings, Wyoming East scored five runs in the fourth inning, pulling away from PikeView in a 13-7 win Monday in New Richmond.
Zach Hunt led East with two hits while Hayden Blankenship, Jacob Ellison and Caden Cook all drove in two runs each.
Nathan Riffe and Jared Vestal collected two hits each for PikeView.
East will travel to Bluefield Tuesday with a spot in the sectional title game on the line while PikeView will host Westside in an elimination game.
Bluefield 11, Westside 1
Bluefield – Bluefield scored in every inning Monday, beating Westside 11-1 in six innings at Bowen Field.
Bryson Redmond, Caleb Fuller, Ryker Brown and Kam’Ron Gore all secured two hits in the win with Redmond homering.
Kaiden Vance led Westside with two hits.
The Beavers will host Wyoming East on Tuesday with a spot in sectional title game on the line. Westside will travel to PikeView on Tuesday in an elimination game.
