ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Charges have been filed pertaining to a report made last Monday involving several assaults on a man.
According to Officer C.L. Roberts of the Ansted Police Department, on Monday, November 1st, 2022, officers with the Ansted PD responded to a call to 394 Westlake Rd., Ansted, WV 25812.
The call was in relation to a reported domestic dispute.
Upon arriving on the scene, officers were able to make contact with the victim in the incident, Michael Ford, who stated that his children had assaulted him.
The children in question, Charlie Ford and Tara Ford, are adult-aged – the daughter, Tara, is 44 years old.
Ford advised that his children had “beat him up” three times, and that Charlie had pushed him to the ground.
Furthermore, Ford revealed to officers that he is afraid that the two will kill him.
During the interaction with Ford, officers report to have observed a fresh cut on the victim’s knee.
Misdemeanor charges of Domestic Battery have been filed against Tara L. Ford of Ansted, WV. The status of charges against Charlie Ford are unclear at the time of writing.
