BRAMWELL, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A son is in jail after he attacked his mother with a five-pound metal weight, pulled a picket knife out, and stated, “I’ll cut your heart out.”
According to State Police, they responded to a home in Bramwell, WV, of Mercer County, about a man threatening his mother and father. Â When police arrived, the father stated that Johnny York Jr. was high on meth, threatening him and his wife.
After a brief struggle, York was placed arrested. Â The mother was found against kitchen cabinets with a busted lip and her right arm to be disfigured. Â The mother stated that an argument started with York over his music being too loud. Â The mother went on to say that her son charged at her and began attacking her with a five-pound metal weight. Â She stated that she attempted to put her arms over her hand in defense, but her son continued to strike her. Â Her son pulled a pocket knife out and stated, “I’ll cut your heart out.”
York was charged with malicious assault and domestic battery. Â The mother was taken to a nearby hospital.
York is being held in Southern Regional Jail under a 40,000 dollar bond.
