CHARLES TOWN, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Animal control in one county is seeking information following a dog bite incident.
According to Jefferson County Animal Control, their office is investigating a report of a dog bite that occurred on Saturday, February 3, 2024, around 6 PM on Wheatland Road in Charles Town.
The bite victim encountered a stray dog near the intersection of Route 340 and Wheatland Road and was bitten while approaching the dog.
The bite victim described the dog as being a brown Brindle Boxer or Pit mixed dog dragging a long leash.
