Anna Mae Crowe, 89, of Princeton, passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at Princeton Health Care Center. Anna Mae was born on May 25, 1931 in Princeton, WV to the late Albert Crowe and Letha Hall Crowe Farley. She attended Princeton High School. Anna Mae truly loved to play softball and for many years played and coached women’s fast pitch softball. She also spent many years driving the streets of Princeton to visit friends and family along with talking to all she came in contact with. She never knew a stranger. In addition to her parents, Anna Mae was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Smith and her brothers, Perry and Preston Crowe. She is survived by a host of nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Patricia Anne Crowe. The family would like to thank the staff at Princeton Health Care Center and Hospice for the care given to Anna Mae. Funeral services to celebrate the life of Anna Mae Crowe will be held at 12:00 P.M. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 from the Burns Wornal Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with the Pastor Larry Dyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Hall Family Cemetery on Halls Ridge Road Princeton. Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 A.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Serving as pallbearers will be, Steve Crowe, Tyler Crowe, Sean Ward, Brian Bailey, Tim Blankenship and Butch McPeak. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Greater Princeton Little League at P.O. Box 546 Princeton, WV 24740. Due to the Governor’s mandate, masks and social distancing, will be observed. Those who are unable to attend the funeral can view her services thru webcasting on our website.
