Mrs. Hawks was a former employee of the Princeton Elks Golf Course in Glenwood, the Glenwood Methodist Home and was an in-home caregiver, affiliated with Princeton Community Hospital. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church in Camp Creek. She enjoyed flea markets and yard sales, and spending time with her grandchildren was the light of her life.
In addition to her parents, she as preceded in death by her husband, Elder Bobby Wayne Hawks.
Survivors include three sons, Anthony Wayne Hawks and his wife Katherine of Princeton, David Lee Hawks and his wife Lorine of Floyd, VA and Jeffrey Hawks of Princeton; one brother, Delbert Lee Wilson of Glenwood; four grandchildren, Daniel Wayne Hawks, Allison Gayle Pruett and her husband Dana, Christopher David Hawks and Mark Aaron Hawks and his wife Baylee; and two great grandchildren, Evelynn Audrey Pruett and Fox Lee David Hawks.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Bailey-Kirk Funeral Home in Princeton with Elder Norvell Mann officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Princeton.
