MT. NEBO, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An annual event featuring items made by hand by local artists and craftsmen is returning to the Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse this June.
Doug Gerwig with G Squared Handwerker, a featured artist at Tamarack, who has also been featured on HGTV’s Property Brothers Forever Home series, and Barnwood Living is the one in charge of the event and says that their goal is to bring in various types of homemade and handmade sellers from throughout the area to share their work.
“What we do is try and bring in different makers and craftsmen and artists and artisans and potters and glass people, and just anything and everything that’s handmade homemade, from around the Appalachian region that we can,” Gerwig said.
The event will run from Friday, June 2, 12 PM-8 PM to Saturday, June 3, 10 AM-6 PM. Gerwig says that a non-electric space for those interested in selling will be $55 and $75 for an electric space. The fee will cover both days of the event.
The event is free for the public to browse and shop around. Concessions will also be available.
The Summersville Lake Retreat & Lighthouse is located at 278 Summersville Lake Road, Mt. Nebo, WV 26679.
