ATHENS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Center of Excellence for Veteran Student Success at Concord University and the Office of Veterans Services will be presenting a Memorial Day BBQ to honor those who have served.
The event will be held at Athens Town Park, located at 400 Weaver Street, Athens, WV 24712.
Featured will be free BBQ, hot dogs, hamburgers, and pulled pork catered by Taste of Memphis
Beginning at 11:00am on Thursday, May 26, 2022, the BBQ will run until 1:00pm, and admission will be free for all who wish to join the celebration.
Concord will also be offering evening tours of campus throughout the summer, during which participants can explore the Campus Beautiful with admission staff, and be treated to a light dinner.
Summer campus tours are available for Thursday, June 16, 2022 and Tuesday, July 12, 2022. Those interested in registering can do so here. Virtual tours are also available for those who are unable to make it to campus.
