ELKINS, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A woman faces multiple fraud-based charges after an arrest executed in the Randolph County area last month.
Reports from the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office confirm that, on Thursday, October 13, 2022, Deputy L.R. Elbon and Sgt. S.D Kyle followed up on an arrest warrant for Carrie Collins.
The warrant was issued in the wake of an investigation from the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office, according to reports.
This investigation and subsequent warrant led to the arrest of Carrie Collins in the Elkins area on October 13, 2022.
Collins will face charges of Fraudulent Schemes (one count,) and Medicaid Fraud (one count,) both of which are classified as felony charges.
Following the arrest, Collins was taken into custody without incident before being transported to Tygart Valley Regional Jail.
