He was also able to leave his touch on this world in many ways. He had an impeccable wit and sense of humor which brought smiles and laughter to brighten the lives of everyone around him. He enjoyed spending time with his family at the beach in South Carolina and in the mountains of West Virginia. He also enjoyed listening to music and going to concerts. He was a master carpenter with the abilities to create, fix, or repair anything to perfection that only he could achieve. He was always hardworking and eventually settled into a career as the Maintenance Supervisor, which he truly enjoyed, at Genesis HealthCare in Laplata, Maryland, surrounded by people he admired.
He will be truly missed by those blessed to know him but never forgotten, for it is impossible to forget someone who had given us so much to remember. The world may have lost an amazing man, but this is not goodbye. He will live on in our hearts through the best of memories. Those who loved him can sleep easy knowing they will see him again in Heaven, for he is now at peace. Those lucky enough to know him can take many of his life lessons we learned from him and continue with his legacy.
