RACINE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Boone County Big Coal River “Make It Shine” Cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, June, 5th from 9am-12pm. The cleanup will begin at John Slack Park in Racine, WV and will end at the Dartmont Park near Ashford, WV.
According to the event’s Facebook page, heavily-littered sections of the 10.5 mile stretch will be selected for volunteers to focus on. “We have three sections of the river that need immediate attention. At noon, we will gather volunteers and return to John Slack Park for free lunch for volunteers.”
