ANSTED, WV (LOOTPRESS) – On Saturday, January 28, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Gran Robbie’s, a new coffee shop and cafe in Ansted, will host a tasting of Blue Smoke Salsa’s restored recipes.
New River Brands, who recently acquired the Blue Smoke Salsa brand, approached founder Robin Hildebrand to serve as a consultant and brand ambassador to help bring back the original recipes and spirit of Blue Smoke Salsa.
“I am so excited for the chance to once again stand behind my original brand promise that I made thirty years ago – to make a delicious small batch salsa using pure, healthy, natural ingredients,” says Robin. “Over the last eight years, watching it drift away from my original vision and recipe, I wondered if I’d ever get to see this happen, and seeing the same passion that I always had for the product being shared by the folks with New River Brands has been exciting.”
Gran Robbie’s is housed in the salsa’s former production facility, and Hildebrand says she’s happy to see that the building where she spent countless hours nurturing Blue Smoke is now home to a new, successful business. She’s excited to bring her product line full circle with this hometown tasting, and hopes that fans of the brand will be reassured by her involvement in the production of her original recipes.
