FLAT TOP, WV (LOOTPRESS) – If you’ve ever wanted to do your own berry picking, Blueberry Hill is one stop you’ll want to make over the summer.
The Flat Top farm announced Saturday that it would be opening on its regular schedule until further notice beginning Tuesday, June 28.
“The berries continue to ripen at a record pace,” the announcement says, “easily replacing a just picked ripe berry with four ripe berries the next day.”
Blueberry Hill allows for a self-guided berry picking session, with gallon bucket U Pick sessions available for $15. Patrons can also opt for the pre-pick option, which runs $30 a gallon. Those planning to purchase a pre-picked bucket are encouraged to call beforehand to ensure supply is available.
Patrons may bring their own containers in which to carry picked berries, or Blueberry Hill can supply one to use. Buckets are to be weighed at check out in order for prices to be assigned.
Schedule hours are as follows:
Tuesday 8:00am – 2:00pm
Wednesday 8:00am – 2:00pm
Thursday 4:00pm – 8:00pm
Saturday 8:00am – 4:00pm
Those traveling long distances to the farm are also encouraged to call beforehand to ensure that unanticipated weather conditions or other events have not impacted availability of berries.
Cash and checks are accepted at the farm, but credit and debit cards are not accepted at this time.
Blueberry Hill is located at 2524 Flat Top Egeria Rd, Flat Top WV. More information can be found here at the Blueberry HIll website, and the location can be reached at (304) 787-3930.
