BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Bluefield will be administering street paving next week per a Thursday morning announcement.
The maintenance will be conducted – weather permitting – on Monday, June 27, 2022, and will be performed by AAA Paving and Sealing of Princeton, who have been contracted to perform the work.
The area of Vineyard Street and Hunter Lane is set to be paved on Monday, while work will continue on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 when work begins on Washington Street and Elwood.
The city asks that alternate routes be found in lieu of these streets as work is being performed, as these areas will need to be clear of all vehicles and equipment.
Warmer weather has brought about the onset of a number of projects in the city of Mercer County, including a collaborative project with the Town of Bluefield, VA and the Sanitary Board of Bluefield which will see sewer pipes from the 1930s replaced with high strength PVC and ductile iron piping.
