“Bubba” was the son of the late Carl Allen Bailey and the grandson of the late Bernard and Nancy Bailey and Abner and Louise Lester and also preceded in death by his cousin Keith Kestner.
“Bubba” is survived by his mother and the apple of his eye, Debra (Debbie) Bailey and her companion, Timothy Christian of Kegley. Also left to cherish his memory is his longtime companion, Drema Harmon, her daughter, Stephanie Crews and husband Michael and her children, Ashley, Madison and Michael and her son, Brandon Huffman and his children, Skylar and Hunter who all fondly referred to “Bubba” as Popaw. “Bubba” is also survived by his cousins, Rashia Redden and Audreyonna Dunn whom he referred to as his sisters and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends who have forever been touched by his bigger than life personality.
“Bubba” was a graduate of Spanishburg High School Class of 1994 and was employed at Cracker Barrel of Princeton. In his spare time he enjoyed working outside around his home. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
“Bubba’ was an organ donor and through this selfless act many others will have another chance at life and he will live on through them.
The family would like to thank the Princeton Community Hospital Emergency Room Department, the staff and especially Anna Brogan for all of the lifesaving efforts, the care, concern and support that was extended to the family during this difficult time.
