The second part of the boys Class A State Track and Field Championships were held Thursday evening at Laidley Field in Charleston.
The 400 and 3200 individual events were held Wednesday evening with Summers County’s Ian Gardner placing second in the 400 with a time of 51.57 seconds. James Monroe’s Braydie Carr finished sixth with a time of 53.25.
Richwood’s Trey Stanley placed fifth in the 3200.
Doddridge County comfortably won the overall team championship with 122.50 points, with Ritchie County finishing second at 95.50 points.
