WASHINGTON, D.C. (LOOTPRESS) – Congresswoman Miller (R-WV) today announced several changes to her staff.
Michael Chirico, Deputy Chief of Staff and Counsel, is moving on to work as the Government Relations and Policy Advisor at Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. Chirico, who served the Third District of West Virginia under three separate Members of Congress, will be missed, but will continue to serve the interests of America in his new role.
Tom Moran, Deputy Chief of Staff and Communications Director, will also be leaving Congresswoman Miller’s office at the end of the year, for an opportunity to be announced in coming weeks.
Congresswoman Miller has expressed her gratitude to Moran and Chirico for their service to Southern West Virginia.
Lauren Billman, who served as Rep. Miller’s Legislative Director during the 116th Congress, has been promoted to Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director.
Joining the office is Darian Gist, who has been hired as District Director to lead Congresswoman Miller’s in-state operation.
“It’s exciting to welcome Darian Gist to the Third District of West Virginia, and I congratulate Lauren Billman on her promotion” said Congresswoman Miller. “While I’m sad to say goodbye to both Michael and Tom, who have been dedicated members of the team, I wish them both the best and am confident they will bring success to their new roles. I also know that Lauren and Darian will help continue our office’s commitment to constituent service and continue to work to improve the Southern West Virginia communities that we know and love.”
