Coy E. Smith, 71, of Huntington, WV passed away on September 2, 2023, at Heritage Center, Huntington, WV.
He was born on January 29, 1952, in Pineville, WV a son of the late Walter and Vergie Davis Smith.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister Lucy Aldal, a brother-in-law Robert Aldal, a niece Veronica Price and a nephew Steve Turman.
Survivors include two sisters Laura (Andy) Turman of Huntington and Linda Stewart and her companion Robert of Brier Creek, a niece LaDonna (Larry) Lambert of Matheny, two nephews Brad (Misty) Turman of Milton and Drew Turman of Huntington, great nieces and nephews Christian Price, Kaylea Price, Hunter Price, Adriana (Ryan) Hendricks, Jackson Lambert, Vicki Hurley and Patti Hurley, and a host of other loving family and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, September 7th in the Chapel of Stafford Family Funeral Home, Lynco, WV. He will be laid to rest in Palm Memorial Gardens, Matheny, WV. Friends may gather with the family from 12 pm until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family and friends. The family is being served by the Stafford Family Funeral Home.
