WHEELING, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An Ohio man was arrested by Wheeling PD after a traffic stop early Thursday morning.
According to reports from the Wheeling Police Department, authorities with the Wheeling PD were dispatched around 3:00am Thursday to Interstate 470 East just past Exit 1 to assist with a traffic stop being conducted by the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Upon arriving on the scene, officers report detecting a strong odor or marijuana emitting from the vehicle.
A search of the vehicle revealed it to contain a number of narcotics, which included 6.45 grams of methamphetamine, 0.65 grams of fentanyl, 10.25 grams of ecstasy/MDMA, 24.5 grams of marijuana, and 2.5 grams of crack cocaine.
Delvaughn McCarrel, 29 of Columbus, was arrested and charged with four counts of possession with intent to deliver. He was transported to Northern Regional Jail to await arraignment.
