FAYETTEVILLE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – An employee of KFC in Fayette County faces charges after taking money.
According to Fayetteville Police, a manager of KFC says that Justin Legg, an employee, who isn’t supposed to be on the register, got into a register, pushed in a fake purchase to open it, and took money out of it. Legg then handed his headset and the transaction receipts to another cashier who confronted him about being in the register. Legg then handed the cashier a fake receipt, and she could see a wad of money in his hands. Legg then told his co-worker that he was out and left the store.
The total amount of money Legg took was $111.07.
Legg was charged with Petit Larceny. He is currently out on bond.
