George Franklin "Frank" Whiteman age 49 of Shady Spring, WV passed away
on Sunday June 6, 2021 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.
Born on May 1, 1972 in Athens, Ohio he was the son of the late Edith
Wright Allen and George F. Whiteman of Athens, Ohio. Frank was also the step
son of RogerAllen of Bradley. He was also preceded in death by his step mother
Jackie Whiteman.
Frank had worked in Advance Auto Stores, and for many years owned
and operated his own landscape and lawn care business. He also worked in the
coal mines for Massey Energy and Arch Coal Mines.
Frank enjoyed fishing, hunting, cooking, and spending time with his
family. He enjoyed watching WVU Sports on television.
Frank was a self taught mechanic of automobiles.
At the age of 15 he met the love of his life, Beth Webb Whiteman,
and at the age of 18 they married, and were blessed with three children; a son
George Whiteman V, a daughter Domonique Whiteman, and a son Cody Whiteman.
His siblings: April Webb, Robin Withrow, Ann Allbaugh, Tracy
Allbaugh, Jerry Allbaugh, and Virgie Whiteman.
Many extended family members also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Rose and Quesenberry
Peace Chapel in Beckley on Thursday June 10, 2021 at 2 PM with Rev. Alan Ledford
officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at Prosperity,
WV. Friends may visit with the family from noon until service time on Thursday
at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be family members and friends.
