DANESE, WV (LOOTPRESS) – The Danese Volunteer Fire Department will be hosting an open house event this Saturday with multiple activities planned for the community.
The open house event will take place this Saturday, May 27, from 12 PM-9 PM behind the firehouse.
The open house will feature bouncy houses for kids, 50/50 drawings, free crafts, and carnival games for kids at 50 cents each, along with concession food.
Vacations to attractions in Tennessee and Ohio are among some of the things the department is raffling off.
A car show is also planned for 12 PM-5 PM. Although labeled as a car show, the department says that participants will be able to show their bikes or whatever else they would want to enter into the show. There is a registration fee of $10 for the show.
The Danese VFD will be raffling off a Sig Saur M400-Tread rifle during the open house. Tickets are one for $5, or 5 for $20. The department says you do not need to be present to win.
The local band, DK & The Bandagold, will be performing from 6 PM-9 PM outside. The rifle will be raffled off afterward. A fireworks show will then begin following the band and raffle. Those attending are asked to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
