Another limb has fallen from the Quesenberry tree. We’re saddened of the passing of a father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.
Harrell Dean Quesenberry was the son of the late E.D. and Letha Mills Quesenberry, and was born on May 26, 1939 at White Oak.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Lois Ann Quesenberry; by siblings Darrell Quesenberry, (his twin brother); infant sister Betty; sisters, Clarice Roliff, Marge Payne, and Ruth Lilly; and brother Earl Quesenberry.
Harrell has two surviving sisters, Lois Francisco of Parkersburg, and Judith Lilly of White Oak.
Harrell and Lois were the parents of one son, Ronald Quesenberry and wife Jamie of White Oak; a granddaughter, Heather Quesenberry and husband Andrew Butta; a great grandson, Jeremiah. He has a surviving grandson, Stephen and fiancé Savanha Lilly, along with several nieces and nephews.
Harrell was a member of White Oak Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and “tending” to his cattle and working on farm equipment. Harrell also loved listening to gospel music and watching westerns.
Funeral services will be conducted at Rose and Quesenberry Funeral Home Shady Spring Chapel on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at 3 PM with Pastor Jack Barber officiating. Burial will follow at Simmons Cemetery at Mount View, WV. Friends may visit with the family from 1 pm until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Stephen Quesenberry, Andrew Butta, Danny Quesenberry, Eric Lilly, Richard Moody, and Johnny Akers.
