BECKLEY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – A man from Richmond, Kentucky, is facing sexual assault charges after police say he drugged a woman and then sexually assaulted her.
According to Beckley Police, on April 26th, 2022, they responded to Raleigh General Hospital about a sexual assault that had occurred. The victim told police that she and Lenoard Vincent Hacker, 59, met on the dating app Plenty of Fish. After some time, they agreed to meet up in Beckley when Hacker was in the area for work. The victim said she told Hacker that she didn’t wasn’t to have sex due to her being on her period, and he confirmed that there would be no sex during his visit.
The two then decided to meet up at Pikeview Lounge and later ended up at his hotel at the Courtyard by Marriott, so she didn’t have to drive far. They both continued to drink at the hotel. While kissing, the victim said that Hacker slipped something in her mouth, which instantly dissolved.
Hacker allegedly continued mixing her drinks, and they started dancing to music. Still, she didn’t remember anything until she awoke in the bathroom on the floor, wearing only underwear and a t-shirt. The victim said she began to throw up and went in and out of consciousness. She said she could pull herself together and walk to the bed, crying. She told Hacker that something wasn’t right. Hacker held her in bed and told her, “everything is ok, baby; you’re with me, and you’re safe.”
The victim fell asleep and woke up with Hacker on top of her engaging in sexual intercourse.
The following day Hacker woke up and had to get to work. The victim said she was confused, gathered her belongings, cleaned the hotel, and noticed a large amount of blood on the sheets.
After she went to work, she told a friend what had happened. The friend told her to go to the hospital to be checked out. A sexual assault kit was administered, and lab results showed male DNA.
Several unsuccessful attempts were made to reach Hacker. He was later arrested and charged.
