Kyle Lee Testerman of Sophia WV went home to be with the Lord Friday, Nov. 26. Born April 27, 1946 in McAlpin, WV, he was the son of the late Earl and Dorothy Testerman. Kyle was blessed with two daughters, April (Testerman) and Chris Carmody of Flushing, MI and Erin (Testerman) and Kaunda Burress of Flint, MI. He was the proud grandfather (or PawPaw) to five grandchildren, Jacob Shaw, Caitlin VanGilder, Cameron VanGilder, Grady Burress and Aliyah Burress. Kyle was the brother of Ron Testerman and wife Sue of True, WV, Michael Testerman of True, WV and the late Ray Testerman and wife Brenda of Midway, WV. Kyle spent most of his life in Sophia, WV and attended Sophia High School. He served in the Army National Guard where he met his good friend Kenny Canady. He worked many years for Lee Norse and just recently Walmart in MacArthur, WV. Kyle also went by the nicknames Red, Woody and Ranger Woody. He loved to make people laugh. He enjoyed camping and visiting with family in Virginia. But most importantly, he loved the Lord and would share his testimony with whoever would listen. Kyle most recently attended Bible Baptist Church in MacArthur, WV but for many years prior, taught the teen Sunday school class at First Baptist Church of Sophia, WV. Services to celebrate the life of Kyle Lee Testerman will be held 10:00AM Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Beckley. Kyle will be laid to rest following the services at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. Friends may gather with the family from 5:00PM until 9:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
