SURVEYOR, WV (LOOTPRESS) – As Independence Day approaches, many businesses, venues, and organizations are opting to celebrate during the weekend leading up to the popular holiday.
Lake Stephens is no exception, as this year the popular swimming and activity destination has announced that a celebratory fireworks display will be held on Sunday, July 3, 2022.
The location announced Tuesday that water park hours would also see a change in accommodation, with the Aqua Park and Splash Pad areas being closed throughout the day, and the beach area opening at 5:00pm and closing after the fireworks display.
The aforementioned closures will take place so that all Stephen’s Lake staff can be utilized during the event. The overlook will also be off limits at this time.
The fireworks themselves will take place at nightfall, “right after dusk as soon as it’s dark enough,” according to the Tuesday announcement. At dusk, patrons will be asked to exit the water and claim their spot to watch the fireworks show.
