LEWISBURG, W.V. (LOOTPRESS) – The City of Lewisburg has shared its recycling schedule for 2022 for homes serviced only by Greenworks, a Greenbrier County-based recycling facility.
According to the schedule, for Lewisburg residents, pickups will begin the week of January 10, 2022, and continue every other week until 2023. The system will operate one week on, one week off and pickups will coincide with the regular trash collection schedule, except as noted below:
- January 17, 2022 (Dr. Martin Luther King Jr Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- February 2, 2022 (Presidents Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- May 3, 2022 (Memorial Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- June 6, 2022 (WV Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- July 4, 2022 (Independence Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- September 5, 2022 (Labor Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- October 10, 2022 (Columbus Day): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
- November 11, 2022 (Veterans Day): Friday customers move to Monday.
- November 24, 2022 (Thanksgiving Day): Thursday customers move to Friday.
- December 26, 2022 (Christmas Day observed): Friday customers move to Monday.
- January 2, 2023 (New Year’s Day observed): Monday customers move to Tuesday.
All other Greenworks customers will follow their individual schedules while taking the holiday schedule into account. The full 2022 calendar can be downloaded here.
