Linda Kaye Haynes, 69, of Brittany Drive, Princeton, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 23. 2021, at Princeton Community Hospital. Born October 20, 1952, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Frank Church and Edith Marie Neel Church Blankenship. Linda was a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She retired as the Assistant Manager of Roses in Princeton, with 32 years of service and was called “Mawmaw Haynes”. Linda was a member of the Lifeline Princeton Church of God. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 16 years, Lowell “Tiny” Haynes, and a son-in-law, Wayne Stone. Left to cherish her memory are her three loving daughters, Melissa Whitney and husband Brett of Princeton, Saretha Stone of Princeton, Tina Brown and husband James of Charleston, SC; Two loving sons, Christopher Morris of Gastonia, NC, Keith Durham of Bluefield, VA; Two loving granddaughters, Sarah Whitney and Marisa Whitney; Three loving sisters, Jennifer Burton and husband Danny, Bethanie Hubbard and husband Gene, Kimberly Looney and husband Steve; Several loving nieces, nephews, and friends also survive. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Friday, November 26, 2021, from the Chapel of the Memorial Funeral Directory on the Athens Road in Princeton with Pastors David Wall and Larry White officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 P.M. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Resthaven Memorial Park in Princeton. Those attending the graveside service are requested to meet at the cemetery. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.memorialfd.com.
