Margaret Ann Dickerson Roach, 93, of Mullens, WV, departed her loving family, and went home to the Lord and may departed loved ones on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 after a brief illness.
Margaret was born in Corinne on November 25, 1927 to the Late Samuel Aubrey Dickerson and Annie Francis Dickerson.
Margaret was the loving mother to her daughters Brenda Roach Jervey, Debbie Roach, Martha Melton, Teresa Wyatt, and Patricia Roach. She raised her children with love and embedded her love for Christ in them in Mullens, WV with her husband, Everette Edward Roach.
Margaret was known by those who knew her for her delicious cooking skills, and spent many years as a school cook at Mullens Middle School. Margaret’s homemade rolls were savored by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everette Edward Roach, and a daughter, Patricia Roach.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Brenda Roach Jervey and her husband, Ed, Debbie Roach, Martha Melton and her husband, Jim, and Teresa Wyatt and her husband, Marty; grandchildren, Johnathan Melton, Lori Hursey and husband, Chris, Allyson Beaucamp and her husband, Tyler, and Emily Wyatt; great grandchildren, Nathan and Felix Hursey, and Wyatt and Avery Grace Beauchamp; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Services will be held on Friday, June 11, 2021 at 12 PM at the Mullens First Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor Lewis Arnold officiating. Burial will follow with her being laid to rest by her husband, Everette, and her daughter, Patricia, at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley. Friends may visit with the family 1 hour to the service at the church.
