March 4, 1947 – May 27, 2021 Mary Evelyn Morrison, the daughter of the late Troy W. Williams and Virginia H. Stegall Williams. It is with heavy heart and great sadness that our family informs you that our loving Mother Mary (Mamaw) has traded this life following a very long illness filled with pain and discomfort, for one of everlasting peace and joy with our Lord. Her memory will be cherished forever in the hearts and minds of the loved ones she leaves behind. Until her disease stopped her from being able to attend, she was a proud member of the Wesleyan Chapel on Johnstown Road near her home. Mary lived and enjoyed life for the simple things like long walks, meeting new people, working puzzles, and being around her kids, because nothing meant more to her than family. Those left to honor her memory include her loving children, John Morrison (John, Jr), James Morrison, Ronald Morrison, and Robin Morrison/Robert Teeter all of Raleigh County; her grandchildren, Michael Brown, Dakota Adkins, Harley Teeter, Jeslyn Teeter and her son, Luka, Brandon Teeter, Layla Teeter, and Bella Crouch; also her former husband, John Morrison, Sr.; a sister, Frances Grooms and her husband, Billy; many friends and extended family members.
