MCDOWELL COUNTY, WV (LOOTPRESS) – McDowell County Schools met this week and voted on its reopening plans for the upcoming school year.
During the meeting, the Board of Education members voted in favor of requiring all students and staff to wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status.
Throughout the school year, MCS will continue to receive guidance from the health department and adjust face-covering guidance accordingly.
Individuals with specialized medical conditions shall provide a physician’s order including medical support documentation if they cannot wear a face covering.
McDowell County Schools start back on Monday, August 30, 2021.
