BLUEFIELD, WV (LOOTPRESS)– Danny Hampton is running for the City of Bluefield’s District Board of Directors.
Early voting starts on May 19th and will end on May 29th. The other candidates in district 1 are: Garry D. Moore, Sr., Treyvon Shaun Simmons and incumbent Barbara Thompson Smith.
Q: Where are you from and who are you?
A: “I’m a resident of the City of Bluefield, WV. I’m an average, hardworking, ordinary man who is seeking to be elected to the Board of Directors.
Q: Why do you want to be on the Board of Directors?
A: “My goal is to be the voice of the average, everyday, working men and women of this area, to make the city we live in a great place to work, to live, to grow, and to give everyone the chance to succeed.”
Q: What would you bring to the Board of Directors?
A: “I will be the people’s voice to fight to bring more businesses, both larger and corporate businesses as well as small businesses. To bring more jobs and economic growth to our community to our great city. I promise to fight for transparency in out local government as well as transparency in our local elected official in our community.”
Early voting begins on May 19th and ends on May 29th. Regular voting will take place on June 1st from 6:30 am to 7:30 pm at the Herb Sims Center.
