Richmond, IN – WVU Tech picked up a solid River States Conference road win Saturday with an 87-84 victory over Indiana University-East.
Oak Hill product Andrew Work scored a team-high 19 points to lead the Golden Bears, while Andreas Jonsson and Thomas Hailey scored 16 points apiece.
Jonsson drilled four long balls and Hailey grabbed eight rebounds.
Dionte Raines had 20 points and Bryce Long scored 19 for the Red Wolves who fell to 12-13 and 7-6 in conference play.
Tech moved its record to 20-4 overall and 11-2 against RSC foes. The Golden Bears are back home Tuesday when they host Point Park University.
