PRINCETON, WV (LOOTPRESS) – Mercer County Courthouse is relaxing its mask policy for fully vaccinated individuals.
Mercer County Commissioner Bill Archer says that they’re trying to comply with the Governor and the CDC orders.
“We don’t require masks to be worn by fully vaccinated people,” said Archer.
Governor Jim Justice’s latest mask mandate will be lifted on West Virginia Day or June 20, 2021. Â As of right now, fully vaccinated residents do not have to wear a mask indoors, according to the CDC.
Archer mentioned that residents may still be able to wear their masks if it’s their preference. However, he hopes that residents are truthful if they are vaccinated or not.
